Terms of sale

What you buy at Andersen's World, how you pay, and how to cancel.

Who sells to you

Andersen's World is run by [COMPANY NAME], CVR [NUMBER], [ADDRESS], Denmark. Email: hello@andersenworld.com.

What we sell

Andersen's World sells access to animated films of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. The films are illustrated and voiced with artificial intelligence (AI). The storyteller is an illustrated interpretation of Andersen, not historical footage and not his voice. Every film is watched by a person before it is published.

You can buy three things:

Andersen's Library: a monthly subscription to every story on the shelf, including new stories while the subscription runs. It renews every month until you cancel.

A year of stories (Family Year): access to the whole Library for 12 months, paid once. It does not renew. It can be given as a gift.

One story: lasting access to all chapters of a single story, in every language it is told in, for as long as Andersen's World is offered. [LAWYER: wording for "lasting access" and what happens if the service closes, e.g. notice period.]

Every trailer and the first chapter of every story are free.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in [CURRENCY] and include VAT. Payment is taken by Stripe when you buy. We never see or store your card details.

A Library subscription is charged on the same day each month. If a payment fails, Stripe tries again; if it still fails, the subscription ends and access stops.

Cancelling the Library

You can cancel your Library subscription at any time in your account. It then stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and no further payments are taken. Stories you bought on their own stay yours.

Your right of withdrawal

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online. For digital content that you ask to start straight away, the right ends when access begins, if you have agreed to this at checkout. See our Right of withdrawal page for the details and the form.

Accounts and family use

Accounts are for adults. You may share what you buy with the children in your own household. You may not copy, download, publicly show or resell the films. [LAWYER: number of simultaneous devices, if any limit.]

Complaints

Write to hello@andersenworld.com and we will answer as soon as we can. If we cannot agree, you can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Nævnenes Hus, www.naevneneshus.dk). [LAWYER: confirm complaints body and any EU cross-border reference.]

Law

Danish law applies. This does not take away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
