What you are watching
Andersen's World retells the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen (1805–1875) as illustrated films. The pictures and the storyteller's voice are made with AI. Andersen appears as a drawn character in his study, never as real footage, and the voice is an original storyteller in his spirit, not a recording of him.
Seen by a person, every minute
Every teaser and every chapter is watched in full by a person on our team before it is published. Nothing generated reaches the shelf on its own.
Close to what he wrote
We follow Andersen’s own texts, which are in the public domain, and tell them gently for today’s children. Where a tale is sad, as The Little Match Girl is, we say so and suggest an age.
Your family’s data
Accounts belong to grown-ups. We store an email address, what you bought and your receipts. We never ask for a child’s name, age or photo. You can delete your account, and everything with it, yourself.
Calm by design
A chapter ends where a bedtime should. Captions are large, in a typeface made for children learning to read.
