How it works

  1. Apply

Tell us about you and your audience. It takes a few minutes.

  2. Get approved

We read every application ourselves. Small, close-knit audiences are welcome.

  3. Share a story

Use your personal Andersen’s World link and our approved films, pictures and captions.

  4. Families discover Andersen’s World

The free Story of the Week is the easiest first step: one of Andersen’s tales, open to everyone for seven days.

  5. Earn

Ambassadors receive commission on eligible purchases their link brings, according to the Ambassador Terms.

Who it’s for

  • Parents and family creators
  • Children’s book and storytelling creators
  • Newsletters and family blogs
  • Publishers and family websites
  • Andersen enthusiasts and community advocates

Schools, libraries and museums are welcome too — through our education and cultural partnerships, which are not commercial. Education

Free for seven days

Start with the free Story of the Week

Each week Mr. Andersen opens another story, and anyone can watch it free for seven days. It is the simplest thing to share: no sign-up for your audience, no price to explain — just a good story.

How commission works

Ambassadors earn 25 % of a family’s first qualifying purchase — a story, the first subscription payment or a year of the library — when it comes through their link within 30 days.

Commission is calculated on the price without VAT.

It is confirmed after 30 days, so refunds and chargebacks come first. A refunded purchase earns no commission.

Renewals and families who were already customers do not earn commission.

Ambassadors who earn commission must tell their audience so — for example: “Affiliate link — I may earn a commission if you join Andersen’s World through this link.”

Ambassador or Friend?

Ambassador

For creators, publishers, newsletters and family websites who recommend Andersen’s World. Earns commission on eligible purchases.

Friend of Andersen’s World

For storytelling advocates and community creators. Share the stories with your own link, use our materials and see what your audience watches — without commission. A Friend can become an Ambassador later.

Not sure? Choose “help me choose” on the application and we will suggest the right track.

How tracking works

  • Your link is personal: andersenworld.com/r/your-name. It leads to an Andersen’s World page — never anywhere else.
  • When someone follows it, we record that a visit came from your link: no name, no IP address, nothing about the device.
  • If they buy on their own Andersen’s World account within 30 days, the purchase is credited to you. Visitors who allow statistics are remembered on their device for that time; otherwise the link counts for that visit or once they sign in.
  • If someone follows several ambassadors’ links, the most recent one counts. Families who were already customers, and renewals, do not earn commission.
  • Refunds and chargebacks reverse a commission. That is why commission is confirmed only after 30 days.

Questions

Who can apply?

Adults and businesses who share family, book or storytelling content. We review every application.

Do I need a large following?

No. A small audience that cares about stories can matter more than a large one that does not.

How much can I earn?

Ambassadors earn 25 % of the net (VAT-excluded) price of a family’s first qualifying purchase through their link. We cannot promise any amount: it depends entirely on your audience.

How are sales tracked?

Through your personal link. When someone follows it and buys on their own Andersen’s World account, the purchase is credited to you. We do not use fingerprinting or third-party tracking.

How long does attribution last?

30 days from the click. If a family follows another ambassador’s link later, the most recent link counts.

When do I get paid?

Commission is confirmed 30 days after the purchase and then approved for payment. Payments are made once your confirmed balance reaches €50.00.

Can I share the free Story of the Week?

Yes — it is the best place to start.

Can schools and libraries join?

Yes, through our education and cultural partnerships rather than the Ambassador Program.

Can I use Andersen’s World assets?

Yes, the approved films, pictures and captions in your ambassador portal, as provided.

What happens if someone gets a refund?

The commission for that purchase is reversed.

Can a Friend become an Ambassador later?

Yes. Friends share without commission; if you later want to earn commission, ask to become an Ambassador without starting again.

Can I leave the program?

Yes, at any time. Confirmed commission is handled according to the Ambassador Terms.

Ready to share the stories?

Applications are read by a person. Approval is not guaranteed.
