DRAFT for legal review. Not yet in force. Text in [square brackets] is still to be completed or confirmed.

Privacy

What we keep about your family, why, and for how long. In short: as little as possible, and nothing about your child.

Who is responsible

The data controller is [COMPANY NAME], CVR [NUMBER], [ADDRESS], Denmark. Email: hello@andersenworld.com.

What we keep

Your email address, to sign you in and to send receipts.

What you have bought and when, and your Stripe customer and payment references (never your card details).

If you join our letter list: your email address and the language we should write in.

We never ask for, or store, a child's name, age, photo or voice. When "Tonight's Story" asks how old the listener is, the answer is used to pick a story and is not saved.

Why we may keep it

To deliver what you bought (performance of a contract). To keep accounts as the law requires (legal obligation). To send the letter list only to people who asked for it (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who helps us

Supabase (database and sign-in), [REGION]. Vercel (hosting of the website). Stripe (payments; Stripe is also responsible for the payment data it processes itself). Resend (sending email, EU region). [LAWYER: data processing agreements and transfer basis for each, e.g. EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.]

How long

Your account data: until you delete your account. Purchase and payment records: 5 years after the end of the financial year, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires. The letter list: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We only use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your choice of light or dark display. No advertising or tracking cookies. [CHECK before launch: no analytics added.]

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, and object to how we use it. Write to hello@andersenworld.com. You can also delete your account yourself. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to Datatilsynet (www.datatilsynet.dk).
