Ambassador Program

Ambassador Terms

Version ambassador-terms-2 · in effect from 20 October 2026

Who we are

Andersen’s World is run by Dialogbot, CVR 25632710, 8200 Aarhus N, Denmark ("we").

The program

The Ambassador Program has two tracks. Ambassadors earn commission on eligible purchases. Friends of Andersen’s World share the stories without commission unless we agree otherwise in writing. Joining needs our approval, which we may decline without giving reasons. Schools, libraries, museums and cultural institutions join through our non-commercial partnerships instead.

Eligibility and your application

You must be an adult or a business. We use what you tell us in your application (name, email, country, website and profiles, audience and how you would share) to decide on it, and we may compare it with public information about your channels.

Your ambassador account

You sign in with the email address you applied with. Your portal shows your links, our approved materials, your numbers and your earnings. You may change your display name, website, profiles, languages and link name; changes to your name, country or agreement are made by us.

Links and attribution

Your personal link (andersenworld.com/r/your-name) always leads to a page on Andersen’s World. A purchase is credited to you when the family follows your link and buys on their own account within 30 days. If they follow another ambassador’s link later, the most recent link counts; a link followed at checkout counts first. Existing customers and subscription renewals are not credited. Our records decide attribution.

Commission

Ambassadors earn 25 % of the price excluding VAT of a customer’s first eligible purchase (a single story, the first subscription payment, or a Family Year) credited to them. Commission is calculated in the currency of the purchase, in whole cents, rounded down. Payment-processing fees are not deducted from it. New commission is credited only while you have accepted the current version of these terms.

How commission moves

Each commission is Pending while it waits 30 days after the purchase; then Cleared (confirmed); then Payable once your cleared commission in that currency reaches the minimum payout; then Paid when we have paid it. It becomes Reversed if the purchase is refunded or a chargeback is lost. Your portal shows every commission and its status.

Refunds and chargebacks

A refunded purchase earns no commission and its commission is reversed. While a chargeback is open, its commission is held; if we win it, the hold ends; if we lose it, the commission is reversed. If commission was already paid for a purchase that is later refunded or charged back, we may set it off against future commission.

Self-referral and review

Purchases through your own account or address are not commissioned automatically; we review them. We may review unusual patterns (for example many refunds or automated clicks) and hold commission while we do. A review is not an accusation, and we will talk to you about it.

Payment

Confirmed commission is paid after our approval, through Stripe, our payment provider. You set up payments on Stripe’s own pages, where Stripe verifies your identity and bank details under its own terms; we never see or store your bank details or identity documents. Payments through Stripe are possible to ambassadors in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the EEA; elsewhere we will discuss payment with you. Payable commission is paid after our approval; the minimum payout is €50.00. Stripe may convert currency at payout under its own terms. You are responsible for declaring and paying your own taxes on commission.

Disclosure

You must clearly tell your audience that you may earn a commission, near your link and in the language of your content — for example: "Affiliate link — I may earn a commission if you join Andersen’s World through this link."

Permitted promotion

You may share your links in your own content, newsletters, websites and social profiles, to an audience of adults, describing Andersen’s World accurately, and you may use the captions in your portal as they are or in your own words.

Brand and content rules

You may use the materials in your portal, as provided, with your link. You may not claim to be or speak for Andersen’s World, imply official endorsement, invent discounts, deadlines or scarcity, misrepresent which stories are available or free, advertise to children or collect children’s data, bid on our name in search ads or run paid ads without written permission, buy through your own link, or use spam, pop-ups, forced clicks or cookie stuffing.

Privacy and analytics

We record that a visit came from your link, without the visitor’s name, IP address or device details, and we never use fingerprinting. Statistics about watching come only from visitors who allowed them, and small numbers are shown as "fewer than 3". You see totals and the purchases credited to you, never who bought. See the ambassador privacy notice.

Emails

We send you emails about your application, your account, commission and payments. A weekly story email is sent only if you ask for it in your profile, and you can stop it there at any time.

Suspension and ending

Either side may end the arrangement at any time. We may suspend an ambassador while we review a breach; during a suspension your links still lead to the stories but are not credited. Commission for purchases made before the end continues through its statuses and is paid under these terms (including the minimum payout), unless the arrangement ended because of a breach.

Changes and versions

These are version ambassador-terms-2 of the Ambassador Terms (formerly the Partner Terms), in effect from 20 October 2026. We may change them: a material change gets a new version, and you are asked to accept it in your portal before new commission is credited. The version you accepted, and when, is recorded.
