Ambassador privacy

Version ambassador-privacy-2 · in effect from 20 October 2026

Who is responsible

Dialogbot, CVR 25632710, 8200 Aarhus N, Denmark, runs Andersen’s World and is responsible for the ambassador data described here. Contact: hello@andersenworld.com.

What we keep about applicants and ambassadors

Your application: name, email, country, creator or business name, website, social profiles, main platform, audience type and size range, audience countries, languages, themes, your description of your audience and how you would share, which track you prefer, and your acceptance of the terms with its date. As an ambassador: your link name, track, status, commission settings, your profile changes and our decisions, each recorded with its date.

Signals about fit

To help a person decide, we derive simple signals from your application (relevance to family stories, platform, language). They are advice, never an automatic decision; a person decides every application.

Your links

When someone follows your link we record which link, where it led, the campaign and creative you chose, and the time — never their IP address or device details. If they are signed in to their own Andersen’s World account, the visit is linked to that account so a purchase there can be credited to you.

Commission records

For each purchase credited to you we keep the product, the amounts (gross, VAT, the commission basis, rate and commission), its status and dates. You never see who bought; we keep the link to the buyer’s account only to apply the rules (first purchase, refunds, self-referral review).

Payments through Stripe

If you set up payments, Stripe collects your identity and bank details on its own pages, under its own privacy policy. We keep only the Stripe account reference and Stripe’s status words (for example "ready" or "restricted") and how many items Stripe still needs — never the details themselves.

Emails

Operational emails about your application, account, commission and payments, and — only if you ask for it — a weekly story email. We record that an email was sent and the provider’s message id, not its contents. A bounced or complaining address is not written to again.

Risk and review flags

To protect the program we look automatically for patterns such as purchases through an ambassador’s own account, many refunds, or unusually many clicks, and mark them for a person to review. A flag is never an automatic decision or accusation; a person reviews it.

How long we keep it

Declined applications: until you ask us to delete them; when we set a fixed deletion period it will be stated here. Ambassador records: while you are an ambassador, and afterwards until you ask us to delete them. Commission and payment records are accounting records and are kept as long as bookkeeping law requires (in Denmark, 5 years after the end of the financial year). Link clicks: kept with the ambassador record; a click bound to a buyer’s account loses that link if the account is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and object to processing, by writing to hello@andersenworld.com. You may complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.

Snip, snap, snout, this tale’s told out.

Andersen's World

Hans Christian Andersen (1805–1875) wrote these tales; they belong to everyone now. Our films are illustrated and voiced with AI.
